    Luggage storage at Alpha Luggage starts at $7.90 per bag per day for the first bag, with each additional bag at $5.90 per day. Hourly storage (under 3 hours) is $6.90 per bag. Long-stay rates kick in automatically: $35 per bag per week and $110 per bag per month.

  • Are there size or weight limits on bags?

    There are no weight limits and standard pricing covers carry-on and check-in suitcases of any size. For unusually large items (surfboards, bikes, instruments, prams) call us on the hotline first so we can confirm space and pricing before you arrive.

  • What does Alpha Luggage's $5,000 per-bag insurance cover?

    Every booking includes insurance up to $5,000 per bag against loss, theft, fire, water damage, and mishandling while the bag is in our care. Excluded items include cash, jewellery or watches valued above $500 each, unaccompanied passports, perishables, hazardous goods, and live animals.   • Can I store luggage for a week, a month, or longer in Sydney?

    Yes, long-stay storage costs $35 per bag per week and $110 per bag per month — both significantly cheaper than peer-to-peer daily rates. Long-stay pricing is auto-applied after day 7 (weekly) and week 4 (monthly). It's ideal for digital nomads, working-holiday backpackers, expats between leases, or anyone leaving Sydney temporarily.

    Your bags stay safely stored and the daily storage rate continues to accrue until pickup. If you can't make it back to Sydney, contact us — we offer paid send-on shipping to any address in Australia or internationally.

  • What is Alpha Luggage's cancellation and refund policy?

    Cancellation is free up to 1 hour before your scheduled drop-off time. No-show bookings (no cancellation, no arrival) are charged in full. Service interruptions caused by us are refunded in full.
